Summary
Dr. Yian WEI is currently an Assistant Professor at City University of Hong Kong (Dongguan) link. His research focuses on reliability-centered decision-making for engineered systems, and resilience engineering. His current and future work primarily covers four research streams:
- Maintenance policy optimization for generic systems under limited inspection and maintenance resources
- Integrated maintenance and system-specific joint decision-making for mission-critical and production systems
- Service reliability modeling and maintenance policy optimization for self-service systems
- Resilience modeling and optimization for engineered networks
Recruitment
Dr. WEI is currently recruiting self-motivated candidates for both Ph.D. and Research Assistant (RA) positions. It would be advantageous if the applicant has research publications and/or a master’s degree specializing in mathematics, computer science, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or other related areas.
